Are non-stick pans making me fat?
Does anyone realize how much butter they are consuming when having to cook on a "non-stick" pan with butter to make it not stick???? You take non fat food like Chicken for example, and douse it with butter to make it not stick to the pan. I'd say pointless. Other options are generic butter from a can (gross) or olive oil (never used it, it doesn't sound better).
I went home on my lunch and had some scramby eggs and had to use a little pat of butter to keep the eggs from sticking. I pour in the eggs and they now have an appetizing little fat ring around them. This making my eggs double the calories.
My suggestion....try making a pan actually "non stick".
