Do you have the time?

At work this morning we were trying to decide if one of our vendors was an hour behind us or not. They are located in Louisville, Kentucky and yes they are 1 hour behind.

We did some research on the time zones and found out that half of Kentucky is at the same time as we are and that the other half is an hour behind.

Could you imagine living on the border of a time zone? How strange would that be?

If you lived on the later side and had to go to the earlier side you would have an extra hour a day, but the other way around would make it shorter.

It would be good if you lived on the later side and had an appointment on the earlier side. Most businesses are open from 8-5, so you could work until five and make it to your appointment by 4:15.

It would be bad if you lived on the earlier side and had to work on the later side. You would have to get up at 6 your time to make it to work by 8 their time.

Do you think these people need two different watches?
